Peace of mind mile by mile

You love your dog like family. We treat them that way too.

The hardest part of every trip wasn't the drive. It was the realization that if we ever couldn't make it ourselves, there was no one we'd trust to do it for us.  No service that truly understood small or special needs dogs. No one who would treat our Chihuahuas the way we would. And if we felt that way, we knew other families must feel it too.  Finding someone you truly trust to transport your dog isn't easy- especially when your pup has special needs, anxiety, or medical requirements that most services simply aren't equipped to handle.  We know because we've been in your shoes.

After more than 10 years and over 100,000 miles transporting my chihuahuas- each with their own unique needs, between New Hampshire and Miami, I've learned practically everything there is to know about keeping small, sensitive dogs safe, calm and cared for on long distance journeys. Every rest stop. Every climate change. Every moment that matters when your dog is miles from home. That experience didn't just make me an expert. It made me realize that other families deserved the same peace of mind I was searching for.

That's why I created Sitting Pretty.

We Specialize in long-distance transport for dogs who need more than just a ride. Dogs who need someone who gets them- their quirks, their comfort routines, their medical needs. Dogs who deserve a transport experience as thoughtful as the family who loves them.
